URL patterns
- A subject hub:
/ai-ml/,/computer-science/,/electricity/,/quantum-mechanics/. - A formula page:
/<subject>/<formula>/, for example/ai-ml/softmax/. - The Markdown copy of any page: the same path with
.mdin place of the trailing slash, for example/ai-ml/softmax.md. Formulas in the Markdown copies are LaTeX between$or$$. - Every HTML page also points to its Markdown copy with
<link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">.
What each formula page contains
The formula in LaTeX and MathML (the MathML carries the original LaTeX as an annotation), a definition of every symbol with units, a plain-English explanation, an analogy, a worked example whose numbers are recomputed on every build, common mistakes, uses, questions and answers, related formulas and two or three sources. Structured data on each page uses schema.org Article, LearningResource, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage.
